Keno Strategies That Will Help You Win

It may not generally be considered the sexiest game in the realm of betting, but keno has loads of devout enthusiasts. And why not? It’s a constantly exciting lotto-style game that’s a breeze to pickup, abundantly available in lots of different formats, and one that may pay out millions of dollars for gamblers who learn its countless subtle nuances. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules for now.
When explaining keno to beginners, some betting pros compare it to bingo. This is at least tolerably correct, in that each game is basically numerical. But to carry that comparison too far can be to think too little of the good many unique aspect that make keno so fun. Unlike bingo, keno users have the ability to select the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the player is granted an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your handpicked numbers with a every day oldball point pen like you had when you were in school.
After you’ve selected your numbers, take the game card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The clerk will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not misplace this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and would like to help out, without a winning slip in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your actions.
Ok, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let us move to something a little more complicated, shall we?
Once you’ve checked off your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and see the action take place on a monitor. That is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you picked winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You really want to get up to the keno stand to get your winnings, as a new round of keno will certainly get going within five minutes.
Strategy number two: always make it back to the keno stand on time!
Since you can’t trust yourself to meet that 5 minute margin each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the very same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max number of rounds (fitting the amount of tickets) is played out, you may then get off your numb rump and go retrieve your winnings.
Another opportunity is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number picks for thirty keno rounds or more. Hell, you can take vacation to France and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
And now you know a number of necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are an adept keno player, they might appear to be stupidly obvious. Still, it will not hurt to bone up on the basics, and if you are a beginner gambler, every bit of information will help make your keno games more fun.
