Keno Schemes That Work
Thursday, 22. June 2023
It won’t generally be seen as the funnest game in the universe of betting, but keno has millions of zealous admirers. And so it should! It’s a consistently exciting lotto-ish game that’s simple to learn, readily available in several alternate formats, and one that might yield mega-dollars for players who master its endless subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the basic rules here.
When defining keno to amateurs, some betting experts compare it to lotto. This is at least partly apt, in that each game is generally numerical. But to carry that comparison too far might be to detract from the innumerable unique characteristics that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to pick the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is furnished with an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as she wants. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your chosen numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you used when you were in grade 3.
Once you have checked your numbers, carry the game card back to the girl at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Make sure no to misplace this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning receipt with you, you will collect precisely $.00 for your time spent.
Ok, there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s go on to something a little more useful, ok?
Now that you’ve selected your numbers, settle into a comfy keno booth and watch the action happen on a monitor. That is where the winning numbers show up for us. If you have winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You really want to get up to the keno stand to get your winnings, as a new keno game will certainly start within five minutes.
Strategy number two: always be sure to get back to the keno stand on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the max amount of keno games (the same as the amount of tickets) is completed, you can then get off your numb rump and go redeem your winnings.
Another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number picks for thirty keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take vacation to France and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
And now you know several indispensable techniques for winning keno. If you are an experienced player, they may seem incredibly obvious. But it will never hurt to study up on the basic tactics, and if you are a novice user, every little bit of advice will help make your keno betting more captivating.
